Footpool is a combination of football and pool. The game is to be played individually wherein every player is given a time limit of 90 seconds.The game consists of 6 balls arranged in the formation of 3-2-1, allotted with the points 20,50 & 100 each. The player has to pot the balls in the pockets with a striker ball.
Everyone of us has dreamed of becoming 'Sherlock Holmes' or Captain 'Jack Sparrow' atleast once in our lives. Be it to find a treasure or solve a case or to unravel a mystery. Well, that opportunity was given to the students of Fr. CRCE college by the 'Rotaract Club Of Fr. CRCE'. On 7th September, 2018 an event known as Amazing race was organized by the club. A treasure hunt in all over Bandra took place in this event. It was organized during 'Synergy' that is the first college fest of Fr. CRCE. This event started in college and the participants had to find multiple clues. They had to race all over Bandra for finding clues & performing various tasks alloted to them at that particular location. All the participants were enthusiastic throughout the event. The winners were felicitated with exciting prizes & gift vouchers.
Every year 3rd October is celebrated as National Poetry Day. In accordance to this day, the Rotaract Club of Fr. CRCE organized an event - 'Mic Drop'. This event consisted of various well renowned poets and artists like 'Harshit Anurag', 'Maulik Dabholkar' & 'Aayushi Khosala'. In modern days, we see that poetry is not limited to just writing words , it has found its meaning in other creative art forms as well, such as music. To celebrate this occasion a Tabla player- 'Mr. Nikhil Parlikar' gave a very heartwarming and energetic performance to the audience. This event became more entertaining due to the presence of 'Mr. Nishant Suri'- the winner of comicstaan - 2018 who performed in front of the audience. This event was not limited to college students, the people from rotary club, the college faculty and other students also felicitated the Rotaract Club of Fr. CRCE with their presence.
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world"- as rightly quoted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam spreads light on the importance of education and its awareness. Taking this into consideration, the Rotaract Club of Fr. CRCE organized the 'Heart & Sole Run 2.0' on 3rd of March, 2019. It was a flagship event and was done to help and support an NGO - Bigger Than Life working towards the welfare of children. More than 200 families from slums and low income areas were helped from all over Mumbai through this event. This event consisted of 4 types of runs with respect to the distance covered - 1.5 kms race, 5 kms race - Joy run, 10 kms - Dream run, 15 kms - Triumph run. There were more than 600 participants who enthusiastically participated in this event. Rotaract Club of Fr. CRCE will continue to host such events and raise awareness about education while doing so.
The hard-work of a person should be appreciated and celebrated by all. Come together is an event hosted by the 'Rotaract Club of Fr. CRCE' to felicitate the hard-work done by all the volunteers throughout the year. This event took place on 26th March, 2019. It was an annual closing ceremony celebrating Rotaract and its achievements throughout the year. The event took place to show gratitude towards others wherein the children from the NGO (Bigger Than Life) performed and entertained everyone. Alongside the college students of Fr. CRCE also got a platform to showcase their talent consisting of stand up comedy, dancing, singing, beat boxing and band performances that took place. The cheers and appreciation were received enthusiastically by all. The Rotaract Club Of Fr. CRCE will continue to express appreciation towards the hard-work and gratitude by organising such events.
